A strong IoT platform with integrated advanced sensing technologies could predict the key factors for standardising and improving performance in food production. This is the objective that Glaücor is working towards.

The ReTi-PC project aims to create a real-time platform for monitoring the operation of food production lines and the characterisation of products from raw material to final product – such as providing real-time readings of the fat and protein in milk.

Glaücor expects the system will reduce costs associated with contracted maintenance by up to 30%. For food companies, it will ensure more efficient, sustainable production with fewer product rejects in quality control and less waste.

Final report summary
Thanks to this S3FOOD call, Glaücor managed to evolve to an IoT platform capable of collecting data in real time and generating reports automatically. All this in a secure environment, with the ability to create a private account for each user, guaranteeing the privacy and protection of their data.
